May 5, 2015: JYP's reality show Sixteen begins, with the winning participants becoming members of a new girl group

July 7, 2015: Sixteen ends and the nine members for the new girl group are chosen

July 10, 2015: The official Instagram account for Twice is opened
A reality show Twice TV is released to show the group preparing for debut

October 7, 2015: The Twice official website is launched

 

October 20, 2015: Twice officially debuts with their mini-album "The Story Begins" and title track "Like Ooh-Ahh" MV
